La página web oficial de la franquicia animada del manga Ghost in the Shell, de Masamune Shirow, ha anunciado que Maaya Sakamoto y Cornelius se encargarán de interpretar el tema principal de la nueva película titulada Kōkaku Kidōtai Shin Gekijō-ban (Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie).
El tema se titula Mada Ugoku y Cornelius se encarga de componer además de realizar los arreglos del tema mientras que Shintarō Sakamoto, del grupo Yura Yura Teikoku, ha escrito la letra. El sencillo del tema contendrá también la canción titulada Anata o Tamotsu Mono y se pondrá a la venta el 17 de junio en Japón.
La película tiene su estreno previsto para el 20 de junio en Japón.
Kazuchika Kise (Ghost in the Shell Arise) es el director jefe bajo el estudio Project I.G., además se encarga también del diseño de los personajes. Tow Ubukata (Ghost in the Shell Arise) se encarga del guión y Cornelius de la banda sonora. Kazuya Nomura (Robotics;Notes, Sengoku Basara – Samurai Kings: The Movie) es el director y Tooru Ookubo (Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex) el director jefe de animación.
El reparto es el mismo que el de Ghost in the Shell Arise, con: Maaya Sakamoto, Ikkyuu Juku, Kenichirou Matsuda, Tarusuke Shingaki, Shunsuke Sakuya, Takurou Nakakuni, Youji Ueda, Kazuya Nakai, y Miyuki Sawashiro,
